Volunteerism is Catching

A resident volunteered to work on the large playground and the changes look great:

Maintenance on the Bridge Reaches a Milestone

Making our entrance more attractive has reached another milestone: the fence rails have been painted. This community project was headed by Milo Sasso who got help from volunteers. While the work was in progress many residents voiced their encouragement and approval of the project.

From Nextdoor:

Compliance Committee Targets Violations

The Compliance Committee is seeking to have residents address violations of the governing documents. An initial community-wide inspection was performed. During this inspection, over 100 homes were found to be out of compliance with Creekside standards. The most common issues, in order of frequency, were:

Driveways and Sidewalks – Section 5.22

Visible Garbage Cans – Section 5.5

Maintenance of Premises – Section 5.18

Playgrounds Get New Mulch

Per the playground inspection that was done recently, mulch has been added to the playgrounds.

Alligator Information

An alligator has been spotted in the retention pond to the right of the bridge coming into the property. It is estimated to be 3-4 feet long.

In another pond, an alligator has also been seen. Reportedly, children were nearby and one even commented that he could “pet” the alligator. Parents please know where your children are; supervise them and keep them safe.

From time to time, articles are available about living with alligators. Do a web search to learn best practices. You may report aggressive alligators to Florida Wildlife.
